Welcome back to school for the 2011-2012 school year. This year promises to be one of the best yet at Warren County High School. Many exciting things will be happening in the business department this year. Check back regularly for updated class information.
The most exciting is the implementation of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA). YEA will afford students at WCHS the opportunity to actually create their own real life business. Students will develop a business idea, business plan, and compete for actual start-up funds to bring their idea to life. See Mr. Swann for more details.
All business classes will continue to transition toward a paperless classroom. The transition was begun last year with the incorporation of Google Docs. That process continues this year with the addition of Moodle. Moodle will allow students to complete assignments more effectively on the web as well as take all tests and quizes online.
